I am build my own PC and doing it as inexpensive as possible. I found a motherboard combo at this address http://www.partspc.com/store/product510.html. I was wondering if you guys could tell me anything you like and dislike about the combo. What does it need and such. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I don't like PC Chips at all :)
A Soltek or Epox nForce2 with a 2500+ Barton combo might be a little bit expensive than this one but the performance and overclockability is totally different.

OK, I don't want to overclock at all but what performance issues will I encounter? I really want to build a PC for Internet use 80% of the time then the other 20% will be for using Word, Excel, and other school/work related programs and maybe a game or two. Also, if I do end up purchasing this mobo combo which of the memory sets on this site, http://www.smksuperstore.com/404.asp?404;http://www.smksuperstore.com/129/listproducts.htm would be compatible with that mobo? I have been told by several people that they wouldn't go with PC Chips but why?

PC Chips is famous of making crappy board, their board is slow and the stability is not as good. And never think that you will not oveclock someday. I was once swear that I'll never overclock anything but now I'm running 217MHz FSB at multiplier of 10X, my R9700P is clocked at 342/666MHz... Barton 2500+ is very cheap nowadays and that's the CPU you should get. Beside Epox/Soltek, Asus A7N8X-X is cheap thing too and it is single channel DDR so you only need to buy one stick of RAM. Try to find them on Newegg and you get them fairly cheap. You'll never regret getting them. For the RAM, I would say never ever go cheap on RAM. They will give you nothing but trouble. If you really have to choose between those RAM, Kingston HyperX is the one. Finally, building a stable performanc rig is the top priority, it is a good investment for your time and give you less headache.
