Having purchased a refurbished cooler from the CM store before I thought I would chime in. I received a refurbished cooler and the only negative I found was dust/dirt/hair on the base between the base and the protective sticker like it had been set down on a dirty surface before the protective sticker was in place. This was easily cleaned off and other then that it was in pristine like new condition.
