I have 2 "All Users", 3 "Personal", and 2 "Default User" folders. As I am
the only user of this computer I would like to consolidate this some. Is
there an easy way to do it so that all the "Shared..." and "My..." links stay
correct?

Hi,

You need to start by determining which ones are actually in use by the
system. The fact that there are multiples means either the system was
reinstalled or they were corrupted at some point. There should be only one
"All Users" folder, and it's probably the one that is appended with .default
or .001. "Default User" is the profile created by the manufacturer for the
user until they set up their own user profiles. I have no idea where
"personal" may have come from unless you are referring to profiles you
created.

To borrow from Mark Dormer in another thread:

To determine what profiles are being used by your installation, check the
AllUserProfile and DefaultUserProfile values in the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

Once you know which ones are in use, you can move needed icons, files, etc.
into them before deleting.
