You'll see a lot of brand loyalty in here, I usually recommend the MSI K7N2Delta-L to my clients because it's a great deal and uses an nForce2 chipset with nForce APU.

Abit NF7-S is a great board also. It utilizes the nForce APU. For a high-end AMD Athlon XP system i would choose Abit NF7-S.

Buy ABIT NF7 v2.0 or ABIT NF7-S v2.0

MSI nForce2 mobos are also good.

MSI K7N2 Delta-L doesn't come with nForce APU. It uses simple MCP instead of MCP-T and doesn't have nForce APU.

MSI K7N2 Dela-ILSR has nForce APU

Wow, so Newegg has been misleading people all this time? If you do a motherboard search using the MCP-T southbridge, the K7N2 Delta-L is listed!

I found <A HREF="http://www.nvidia.com/object/motherboards.html" target="_new">this page</A> to be a pretty good reference.
