Pc games, prototype and my pc. help please

i wanted to know if anyone can help me figure out if I'll have a problem with prototype.
i know my computer will handle it except my cpu. i have a pentium d 820 2.80GHz. and by play it i mean at lowest settings and lowest resolution possible. i have no idea if it'll actually work. some people say not at all, some say it'll be fine, a few say that it works but crashes if too much is going on, explosions and what not.

nvm. i no longer need help. prototype runs fine on my pc so far. except the audio, just thought i'd say it works in case anyone else has a pentium d 820 and a system like mine lol which i doubt.

There is a known problem with the audio frequency of Prototype. Try to change your audio settings of your sound hardware to 24 bits, 44100Hz.
