I just tried to slipstream XP SP2 on a 2000 box [build 2195] and got a memory error (instruction at 0x referenced memory at 0x). Any known workarounds?

I don't think anything XP related can be installed in 2000, service packs, updates, etc. At least I have never heard of anyone doing it and I really can't think of any reason to try. Why exactly do you want to accomplish this?

I'm just trying to create a CD to install XP with SP2 from the two separate pieces, not install it on the 2K box. AFAIK, there's an DLL call that's falling through the cracks or some such thing.

You can slipstream 2000 SP5 on Win 2000, but not XP SP2 on to Win 2000...

ummmmmmm.... he's trying to use a 2K box to create the slipstream CD, not slipstream XP with 2K. See the difference?
