profile on this computer which has no password, so i click on the profile to
log in, it says its loading the settings then you see the desktop and then it
logs itself back out, ive tried to log in, in safe mode with the
administrator and it does the same thing, i have been unable to gain access
to my computer can someone please help?

If last known good configuration doesn't help (and you've already tried safe
mode so it probably won't but it's worth a try) then you can do a repair
installation without breaking anything. After this is done you might want to
scan for malware and you will need to do all of your updates including SP2
if it's not on your CD to begin with.
