Do cheats work on demos for PS3

Do cheats work on PS3 demos cause i got this demo and there is a couple of cheats i would like but not sure if i put them in right or if they can be activated on a demo?

I'm almost positive they don't. But you can try like two and if they don't work then i'm right lol.
