I know with Win8 all pc manufactures must include UEFI Secure Boot, But what about people who build their own computer will they still be able to get motherboards with a traditional bios, or will they only have the option to get a motherboard with UEFI but with the option to disable secure boot.

More about : secure boot

To be Windows 8 certified it must have Secure Boot. Most likely you will still be allowed to install previous version of Windows and Linux on your own builds.

Retail channel motherboards will receive bios updates to add the secure boot "feature" if they're certified for Windows8....but it's up to the user to enable/disable it.....or even update the bios to add the feature. My Z77 Extreme4 received the feature lastnight when I updated from Bios v2.00 to v2.30
