Cant make front usb t owork

I bought a DFI PS83-BL. it works well except of a couple problems. Like video crash with FX5200 8x card during defragmentation. BIOS update helped. The bigest problem is that I cant meke front usb port to work. Cables are pluged in correctly, jumper set too. when you insert an USB key in any of them it shows "unknown or unsoported hardware", when you plug the sake key in tha back it is recognised corectly. I'm using WinXP PRO

you can try to install the USB2.0 driver
if the USB still can't work you can try to use the USB back of your conputer

You mean "Intel(R) Chipset Software Installation Utility" with the USB2 flag?

This is what I found on their site for USB drivers if this is of any help, if not I would e-mail them to find out if there is a updated driver for your device.

The problem was the wrong information in both manuals (printed and from the site) about connecting front usb wires
