Hello!

I'm quite new around here, but I've been a reader of Tom's Hardware for some time. Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place!

I recently bought an i5-2500K. I know the Ivy Bridge just came out, but I wanted to go with a trusted chip and save a few bucks. I figured the jump from my Q6600 would be considerable either way and I liked all the great reviews the 2500K had.

I'm looking to sell my Q6600 G0, along with the motherboard, cooler, and DDR3 RAM. The CPU has never been overclocked and it still runs great, I just wanted some more juice out of my GPU, hence the upgrade.

The motherboard: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/dsktpbo... (supports DDR3)

The cooler: http://thermaltakeusa.com/Product.aspx?C=1148&ID=1548

The RAM: 4 x Corsair XMS3-1333 1GB CAS 9

The pics: http://imgur.com/a/5CAZU (I couldn't get a clear shot of the CPU. Will update later with one.)

Asking $100.

If you have any questions at all, let me know!

Thanks for looking!

What kind of prices are you looking to get?
Do you have any trader rating / feedback?

Let me know if you decide to sell for the price we discussed. If not, that's cool.

Just looking to get a bit of cash my way to offset the recent upgrade. Let me know what you think is fair.

I've only recently heard about HeatWare and have made an account: http://www.heatware.com/eval.php?id=80610

Obviously, it has no feedback just yet. (dalauder has graciously offered to give you a character reference on me, if you so desire, in lieu of my lacking HeatWare evaluations.)

I also edited the OP to state the Q6600 is a G0, not a B3.

How is the shipping from Canada to the US? Is it usually expensive or rather cheap? I may be interested in the setup.

I can get everything weighed and get you an estimate. The heaviest piece is obviously the cooler. If you can give me a ZIP code, I'll look into it. =)

I would buy this if you will ship to Brunei. I have verified paypal (expat working in SE Asia)

You can keep the cooler... I have enough of them to start a small copper foundry :)

PM sent w/ shipping info.

75060 please :)
If anything, I wouldn't need the cpu cooler either.

I increased the dimensions of the actual motherboard box by 3 inches all around, for packing, and rounded up to 4 lbs.

Zootalaws: Cheapest shipping would be ~$88 to you... It would take 4 to 6 weeks.

toneekay: Shipping is ~$32. It would take roughly 4 days.

Is that shipping without the cpu cooler? Or with it?

That's shipping without the cooler. The cooler alone is easily 5-10 lbs. :o

Canada Post has dimension ranges for pricing. If I can safely package it into a smaller box, it may go into a lower shipping bracket. I'll have to check the actual store-front to see what sizes are available.
