I'm quite new around here, but I've been a reader of Tom's Hardware for some time. Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place!
I recently bought an i5-2500K. I know the Ivy Bridge just came out, but I wanted to go with a trusted chip and save a few bucks. I figured the jump from my Q6600 would be considerable either way and I liked all the great reviews the 2500K had.
I'm looking to sell my Q6600 G0, along with the motherboard, cooler, and DDR3 RAM. The CPU has never been overclocked and it still runs great, I just wanted some more juice out of my GPU, hence the upgrade.
Is that shipping without the cpu cooler? Or with it?
That's shipping without the cooler. The cooler alone is easily 5-10 lbs.
Canada Post has dimension ranges for pricing. If I can safely package it into a smaller box, it may go into a lower shipping bracket. I'll have to check the actual store-front to see what sizes are available.
