I just had my MSI neo-2Ls die on me (2 weeks after warrenty expired) And I was wondering what you guys would reccomend instead. Im trying to keep the price as low as possible and don't need some features (SATA RAID, gigabit ethernet, PAT)

I'm looking at a couple of SIS/VIA boards and 865PE boards.

The only features that are really important are SATA, HT, 800FSB, and duel channel support.

pat is a very nice feature, i would recomend any 865pe based board, unless you are really scraping the bottom of the barrel (financually). I like the is7, it is cheep and offers good features, including all of the one's you said you didnt need  but still it is one of the cheepest 865pe based mobos.

If it isn't a P6 then it isn't a procesor

IS7E is only $9 cheaper than the IS7, I think the added feature or two puts the value on the IS7.
