The ring tone volume on my recently acquired Audiovox CDM-8900 (Verizon)
phone reminds me of a Nokia 6360 (AT&T) I had several years ago as it
relates to loudness. At the time I found a Nokia tone that sounded like
a bee and escalated with each ring until it got really loud.

I am searching for a REALLY loud ring tone for my CDM-8900. Not a song
or jingle, a tone. It seems with Verizon's "get it now" I can not
preview (maybe I am wrong) before I buy. Can anyone recommend a simple
yet loud ring tone for this phone and where I might find it for my old ears?

Thank you! Now my "dumb" question. Using email, I sent myself the file
attachment to my cell phone as a text message but could not open/save
the tone. Any ideas on how to do this?

I checked out some of VZW's pay tones, but, they are all music (or so it
seems) related. I just want a LOUD tone.

I use a USB Data Cable and a program called BitPim to download to my LG
vx4400b. I don't know much about your phone. Let me see if I can find a
forum or somthing.
