VHS format in America

ive got an american friend sending me a VHS video tape...

thing is over here in OZ we use the PAL format (i think)... will the tape work? does america use NTS or PAL?

P.S. in keeping with general toms hardware forums commitment to quality, yes the video is most likely porn of a high quality

not unless your VCR supports both formats. if it doesn't then find a friend who has one that does. or try <A HREF="http://www.vhsconversion.com/format.html" target="_new"> here </A>

a switch is not necessary for the majority of the VCRs because the format of the VHS is automatically recognized by the VCR. eh. [High High Tech]
