Hi Everyone!!!
I have a system that using specs as below:
motherboard :Aopen AX4PE Max
chipset :intel 845PE
processor :2.40GHz+HT
RAM :256MB DDR333
bios :pheonix awards R1.10

At default setting my system run at 133MHz FSB and DDR 226, when i set the FSB to 166MHz and DDR333, the system can't be boot. Do anyone know why? Why can't i set the system to the best performance?

When you set the fsb to 166, you are trying to make your chip run at 3.0 gigahertz. This may be too much of an oc with stock fan and voltages.
Your Quad pumped fsb would also yield 666, wich is the number of the beast. (just joking)

IIRC, the only 2.4Ghz Intel processor with HT is the northwood 'C' core version, and if you're running that at 133FSB, you'll only be running it at ~1.6Ghz... What speed is it reporting?

Also what is your CPU/RAM ratio currently set to?
