I have Abit NF7-S with Nvidia Nforce2 chipset. I connect Orinoco PCMCIA card
to this motherboard using Avaya PCI adapter, but Orinoco can't connect to AP
(DWL-900AP+), which is on my desk. I installed Windows XP and Windows 2000
and the results were always the same: Client Manager on W2000 shows
excellent connections, but can't read SNR, signal and noise level.
Netsumbler doesn't see AP.

In XP Orinoco doesn't see any AP. I stoped Wireless Zero Service and
insatlled drivers from Windows 2000 and result was the same like in Windows
2000.

PCI Adapter and Orinoco work on other machines witch Windows 2000 and XP
(witch chipset Intel 845G, VIA KT266, Intel BX).

I read it is a problem with bios of motherboard. It is a true? Maybe someone
found solution?
