I need someones advice, someone who know's what they're talking about. I am going to upgrade my motherboard in about 4 months (mine still has a 4x agp slot and sdram, but an athlon xp 2400) to utilize some of the extra power in my graphics card and different ram. however, my concern is that with the release of the athlon 64, athlon xp motherboards won't be sold anymore. is this an unwarented fear? meaning, will ahtlon xp motherboards still be sold in the next 4 to 5 months?

thanks a lot

No video card made today requires a faster interface than the agp 4X. Nor do I believe that increasing your ram to DDR is worth the expense of a new mobo. You need better excuses to upgrade.

Most certainly! There should even be some new Athlon XP motherboards arriving in the near future.
