visible text in folders

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.newusers (More info?)

When opening one of my files (my documents) the window opens with what
appears to be command(?) language. I don't dare do anything so I am left
without access to any of my work.

Try taking a screen shot of the window (by pressing Alt and PrtScrn at the
same time), then paste it into MS Paint in the Accessories menu). Save it to
your desktop, and then sign onto a free photo upload site - such as
http://www.photobucket.com/ and upload it there.

There'll be a link below the picture once you upload it - post that link
here so we can view what the screen says.
