Battlefield 1942 wont install

Just recently bought Battlefield 1942 The Complete Collection for my Laptop an HP Dv5. The problem is is that when I install the game it gets past disc one and when it reaches disc 2 its gets to 85% complete and it comes up with an error "Specified component cannot be found in media.An attempt was made to access
a component that does not exist in named media". I've done some looking around and all i've come up with is that i have a corrupted cd. This is confusing as I just received the game today brand new in the box. can anybody shine some light on this problem? Thanks.
