Download <A HREF="http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html" target="_new">Belarc Advisor</A>. It tells you more than you need to know about your computer.

i just downloaded the belarc advisor, it does not tell me what motherboard i have, only the bios maker and version and the chipset maker.

Could also try <A HREF="http://www.aida32.hu/aida-download.php?bit=32" target="_new">AIDA32</A>. The information should be available in the Motherboard->Motherboard section.

thanks, very nice program, much more detailed than belarc, identifies the maker of the motherboard and a whole lot more!
