I've just ordered a new motherboard, some new ram, and a new cpu. It wont arrive for a few more days and i probably should have asked the question before i bought the parts, but what are some potential problems i will run into when connecting my harddrive now into the new parts. Will it even boot? do i need to reinstall the OS, but can i keep my data i have now?

The board is a ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe
The ram is GEIL DDR PC3500 (i understand this stuff is very power hungry)
The CPU is an Intel 2.4GHz 800 FSB
The harddrive is an Western Digital 80Gig

My current setup is an ASUS A7S333 with an AMD 1800+ and some generic ram.

I just want an easy transition between system setups. Any info on how to make that easier would really be appreciated.

You should not have any problems. The HD you have is it new?Or from your old system?

Have fun with your OC. I have my 2.4C at 3.0.
