I'm seeing lots of posts with system builds using the following boards:

Asus P4C800-deluxe and some P4P800-deluxe
Gigabyte GA-8KNXP (somtimes ultra)
ABIT IC7-G (or max3)

Can someone argue the merits for the various boards? I'm looking to build a new system for myself soon and would like to get a solid board.

Thanks!

I'd go with the Abit IS7 (865PE). It offers a lot of features and performance for it's price. The IC7 would be the 875 chipset substitute. The IC7-G adds features you might not need. The others are also good boards. All are very solid.
