Hello, I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions on which home broadband router i should get. I was considering the DLink 604 but wasnt sure if Dlink's products are any good. What products have you bought that you would recommend? Any ideas?
any advice is welcome.
thanks alot

Obviously it's going to depend on what your network's specific needs are but generally I would say get a router with a firewall. I use a DLink 704 and I like it a lot, never had any problems with anything from D-Link although I've always thought of them as cheap Linksys.

Netgear RO318. I have it and mine works well. I finally never have to mess with internet sharing junk anymore. Solid fast internet connection. Mine seemingly never lags or crashes, it's like a miracle box.

LinkSys 4 or 8 port(BEFSR41/BEFSR81... I have the 8 port.
No problem! Ever! and been runnin mine for just about 2 yrs now.
It's literally a Set It and Forget It outfit!
I run(forward) both Web and Ftp servers thru it - plus can VPN in also...

One nice thing i've noticed about it is that even when I get a power out, when power comes back on it just reconnects by itself! That's nice, and I dont think all of the competition do it!
I gotta give it an A++ for reliability and convienince!
