A7N8X D voltage swings

Goes like this: Out of the blue system wouldn't boot up, got to XP logon screen, kept rebooting / reinstalled XP, semi stable / now running MBM5 the core voltage reads from 1.76 to 1.78 as does the -12V. Seems to do it with changes in fan speeds. Same readings in BIOS hardware monitor. Power supply? Motherboard? Aliens?

I'd vote for the aliens. But seriously, I have this board and I have always had voltage issues. What kinda power supply are u using?

Enermax 350 watt. Wonder if bumping up to a 400/450 would help. Machine has got ghosts. After the crash, reloaded XP, now some shortcuts don't work. Norton's can't fix them...
