I am about to upgrade my system, I don't want to spend the money on an Athlon 64 or an Intel 2.8 and up. I was thinking about getting a Athlon XP 2800 processor or An Intel Pentium 4 2.4 ghz w/ Hyperthreading.

So now the question is which motherboard would you suggest I buy for either or both processors?

For Athlon system I recommend ABIT NF7-S/NF7 v2.0

What do you think about a ASUS A7N8X Deluxe (nForce 2), AMD 2600, 1024 mb of ram, and an ATI 9800 pro. Do you think there will be any conflicts?

Well, would you reccomend another motherboard that is better accepting of ram (I believe mine now is pc2700). And still give me good results with an AMD 2600 and an ATI 9800 pro.

For P4 2.4C Abit IS7 that's the one I have. Or Asus P4P800.
