Hi Folks.

I seem to have a problem booting my system into XP Home when there is a USB device attached (and active). The system will hang shortly after the CPU Health test. When there are no USB devices attached, the system boots normally, then the devices can be connected and operated normally, but it's a little inconvenient.

(I am running a Gigabyte GA-8S648FX-L mobo with a P4 2.4C)

Any ideas as to how to what might be the problem?

Thanks.

Carl

I wasn't absolutley sure it was the mobo, but it looks like that will have to be my next step.
