Looking to build buget system. is the epox EP-8Kmm3I with the km400 chipset a decent mother board? just need the pc for internet and casual work. any sugestions on processor, memory, and motherboard?

Mobo - ASUS A7N8X-X (really cheap and fast)
Ram - 256 MB Generic
CPU - AMD Xp2500
HDD - 40 segate

= about $400AU or $250US

also if you need a case i recommend the Thermaltake XASER3 V2000A with thermaltake 480watt Gold PurePower Model W0011, if you got a bit of money left over

so the km400 chipset wont be good enough for what i need?
Do boards that support dual channel support single also?Does the epox 8RDA3+ have an IGP?

nForce2 IGP is way better than KM400 IGP

Epox 8RDA3+ doesn't have IGP. Epox 8RGA+ have.

You can get MSI K7N2G-ILSR (if you need all nForce2 features) or MSI K7N2G-L (if you want to save money)
