The way XP recovers from sleep

How can I change the way that XP recovers from sleep? I found it not that convienient as the system recovers from sleep at any movement of the mouse or keyboard. Sometimes I just accidentally touch the mouse and then it wakes up. How I can modify the registry (or some easier way) so that I can awake the system at an appointed keystroke.
