i recently bought an abit ic7 mobo, my buget didn't extend tot the ic7g or the ic7max3, so i was quite suprised to see an rj45 network connector on the back of the board (all be it with a sticky label to cover it up) all the manuals that came with it are for an ic7g! allthough the board has ic7 written on it, is it possible to activate this network connector?

thanks

No, it's not connected to anything. The network chip is missing, that's why they put a sticker over the port.

Had you bought an Abit IS7 you would have gotten NIC and saved money.
