New Bios for p4c800E

Asus just released a new Bios for the P4C800-E. Anyone had any experience with it? I'm hoping it does more then update the logo and support P4EE.

im a bit unsure about doing the updates on my p4c800-deluxe but im sure it wouldnt hurt and it would make your computer better

No one, eh. I guess I'll be the Guinea Pig. I'll let you know if they make a difference. I just wish Asus published a bit more about the changes.

DAMN!! As soon as I flashed , the machine won't post at all. No keyboard recognition, no nothing. So, I'd wait if I were you.
As to my board, any suggestions... any one? Tried clearing the CMOS, but didn't change a thing. The Bios flash went without a hitch (or so it said), but now I'm screwed.

Ok, it's up again. I don't know what the hell happened but leaving it plugged in but off for about 20 minutes seems to have solved the problem. I was getting nervous there for a while.

I also updated it yesterday...seems to work fine (you need to use afudos.exe by the way).

Yup, I know. My orginal update (from sale version to 1011) went perfectly. This one however....

I have seen an the<A HREF="http://www.abxzone.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=58579&perpage=15&pagenumber=1" target="_new"> abx forums </A> that the new bios has killed several boards I am waiting to see what is the issue apparantly the bios that was released for the p4p is even more unstable !

Makes me feel a little better that I wasn't the only one... and even more better (?) that my board now works.
