I opened up my tower yesterday, to see how much RAM I was running to
find out if I should upgrade because my system has always ran fairly
slow (XP Home).
I was surprised to find out that I had 512MB and not 256MB, but I
noticed that they weren't the same.
One is 256MB SDRAM, the other is 256 SDR DIMM.

- could this cause my slow speed issue?
- also, under Task Manager, there's a bunch of processes running under
'Owner', is there a way to find out what they are so (I know if it's
something I don't want running) I can end them?
