Who else here is stoked for this game? I know it's a little bit away. But i love rubbing this into CoD nerds' faces lol.

yea, i have also played COD. but its NOTHING SPECIAL. Bf has always been better than cod, gfx, gameplay everything. Im not saying cod sucks, but BF is better, and I'm tired of listening to hundreds of kids brag about dumbass percs and new guns. and no dedicated servers? pathetic...

I would be drooling if they ported it over!! I just started playing PR and it's much more tactical and in some instances, more intense than vanilla.

Haha, I was just coming here to post this. BC2 has me excited like no other. I am still on the fence if I want t pre-order to play the beta.

IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE COD. It looks like an awesome realistic game with exceptional gfx. and yea, that would be really annoying if there was a black screen like that.

Haha, I mean only that it got a lighting face lift...not that it looks like COD gameplay. This is like BF2 on steroids...totally awesome ones.

Im going to have to buy some 5hr energy, a sack of weed, and take a few days of vacation when this comes out...and maybe a towel...

Well, at least the lack of a Defib by default will open up competition; the 3-2/5-3 Medic/Assault setups got borring REALLY fast...

The single player of COD was pretty sweet, I do have to admit that because it sucked me in. The online play just left me thinking...I wish this was more BF2-like.

I will admit this too...for MW the snipers are much much better than BF. Funny though, it looks like in badCO2, they upgraded their sniper kit with a ghille suite. Saweeeeeet!

I am looking forward to BC2 after passing on MW2.hope the beta keys are available without the online preorder.I would like to try this game before buying.

it's made specifically for pc, not ported from console.... & it will have dedicated servers, a crucial component for me to buy.

It is sounding like they are keeping the beta demo tightly capped to pre-orders only. Also, as of right now, it sounds like not all pre-orderes will get a beta key either...just the EA store and GameStop is said to officially hand out beta keys.

I pre-ordered from Amazon today but I won't be shocked if I can't gain beta access. It would be nice if they can get some more details out about the access.

Since the PC beta stops on Feb 25th it would also be nice if they opened it back up as an official demo once the game is released. I wouldn't have gotten into BF2 if it wasn't for the demo.

Reserve Battlefield Bad Company 2 and receive access to the PC multiplayer beta. Beta begins January 28th, 2010 and ends February 25, 2010. Available for online customers only while supplies last. Not available for in-store or in-store pickup orders.

Online Customers: A beta activation code and download instructions will be emailed beginning January 26th, 2010.
