Refurbed Motherboards

I was wondering if any of you had dealt with refurbed motherboards. Is it ok to purchase refurb or should it be avoided completely?

Last time I looked Abit IS7 under $100 brand new.

I've bought about 6 of them. All posted fine. Biggest problem was a lack of a backplate, which is difficult to order from most venders and manufacturers. Abit will sell you one for about $10 shipped. Newegg gives you a 15 day warranty. If you get one and don't have time to set it up right away, put in an rma request just to be safe, in case you have to return it. They expire in 30 days, if you don't use it.
