I have a Moto t730. Before that I had 3 Moto t720s. Before that I had
an LG T510 (i think thats the model, black flip phone). The lg worked
very well in my home, but would drop once and a while. Inside my house
the signal isnt very good. Besides droping a call or two, the lg workd
normally. I droped the lg in a swimming pool and that was the end of
that. When I went to verizon, they didn't have the phone in stock and
I got the t720. Reception was worse and the phone keept switching back
and forth from analog to digital. Sometime it would get stuck in
digital and drain the battery. I keept having it repleaced, and then
got a t730. All my searchs on the web and newsgroups, show my problems
with the t720 are common. However, everyone says the t730 fixes these
proplems. Unfortunatly, my t730 still does that same thing.
When I try to place a call, even with as many as three bars, it will
take for ever to connect and the switch the call to analog. Or I will
flip open the phone and it is already on analog. I have noticed this
proplem even in areas of Phoenix (my city) on the freeways where
signal is very good.
Anyone else have proplems with the t730 like this? Is it perhaps a bad
t730 or a t720 with a new faceplate?
