The best processor and graphics card for P5K3 Deluxe Motherboard

Hi,

I have an Asus P5K3 Deluxe Motherboard LGA775 / Intel P35 chip set and am looking to upgrade its processor and Graphics card for gaming. Nvidia is my preference for the graphics card also am not sure if the motherboard graphics is 2.0 or not and if that will make a difference. So, can anyone please advise me on the fastest and best suited of the above mentioned for my Motherboard. My
Knowledge in this field is not very good so your advice is very much appreciated.
