I just want to set up a Network that can file share...for the time being then once we get Comwavz (its a wireless Internet connection that is setup through antennas on the roof and the signal gets transfered to the big towers) I can then just get Comwavz setup and then all the computers will be able to acsess the Internet w/ a fast Internet connection. I guess is all I need a few 10/100 Eithernet Cards (NIC)about 500 feet or so of Cat5 and maybe a Router and a Hub depending on how many I hook up I think I will have a totall of 5 aditional computers added to this one. I guess I need to know if I am getting everything I need and is it really as easy as hooking the Cat5 up to each NIC Card and then running it back to the Router and then doing the same to all computers? Thanks for all your help!

yup but you will need either a 1 port router and a 5 port switch\hub or a 5 port router to do that ( I suggest the 5 port router if you can find one) most home use routers are 4 port ( the ones I can afford anyway lol) you will also need to set up the network on the comps but that is easy enough especially if you have at least one XP box

why do you think 5 ports is so much better than 4? you can put another switch on either. they all support 253 clients anyway.

how do you shoot the devil in the back? what happens if you miss? -verbal
