I recently purchased a Logitec Cordless Rumblepad 2 controller for use with Assassin's Creed. I've installed the bundled software and run the tests. All the controls respond properly but when I load and run Assassin's Creed, the only controller option available is keyboard and mouse. Does anybody have any idea what the problem is. The operating system is Windows XP SP3 with all current updates installed.

Make sure the controller is switched on and connected BEFORE you start the game.

In my case (Xbox 360 wireless controller), it doesn't show in the menus as an option unless it's connected before the game is launched, so I'm sure it'll be the same with your Logitec.
