I just put up a new machine.. My case came with a CPU temp sensor and a HDD temp sensor. I put my sensor in between the top of the cpu and heatsink. After turning on the system, the HDD temp displayed is fine, but the cpu temp displyed "HH", instead of an actual number. Does anyone know what's going on? is it because that the temp is too high to be displayed in two digits? But if the temp is that high, I don't think the CPU would keep working. Can someone please help me? thanks a lot. :)

in between the CPU and HSF? there shouldn't be anything in between them, apart from some thermal paste or a pad. It's better placed just under the chip.
