Hi,
I've decided to put about 10 gigs of stuff form my hdd onto cd's, some of which are divx's. Problem is they are too big for 1 cd, so how do I select say nero or easy cd creator to make em into 2 vcd's?

divx is not the same as vcd, if you convert them to vcd you will take a big quality hit. get a program called avichop. it will only work in 98, it crashes when i try it in xp or 2000
how do you shoot the devil in the back? what happens if you miss? -verbal
Why burn then to vcd? You would only burn them to vcd/svcd if you were to watch the movies on your tv in a vcd/dvd player (unless you build your own divx box). Maybe you should try to burn like 99min cdrs or get a dvd burner or split the divx into 2 and spand them onto 2 cdrs. If you are burning them to vcd/svcd them you would need to convert them to mpeg.
Use winrar, rar the files up with no compression and set it to use several pieces, set the piece size to 500 megs(300 megs whatever is half) and wuala.
just use virtual dub to chop them up copy them to cd and if u like u can use vrtual dub to stick them back together. or if u have an oldhdd hanging arond just copy them onto that
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message.
Here's another annoyance (thx for the replies thus far btw), I have a DivX, but it says its 5 hours and something minutes long, when it's actually more like 1 hour and 28 mins. How do I correct this, cause when it converts to mpoeg, it's about 3.7 gigs.
