Pentium 4 3Ghz 800FSB or Dual Xeon 2.2Ghz?

Hello Folks,

Some advice would be great.

I have an MSI NEO-FIS2R motherboard with a P4 3GHZ (800fsb) Processor, 1MB DDR 400 memory, MSI FX5900 (128MB) graphics card and creative audigy soud card, oh and two seagate barracuda serial 120 Gb HDD.

I have a couple of Xeon P4 2.2ghz processors knocking about, and was considering buying the ASUS PC-DL Deluxe dual xeon board and using all the above accesories.

The question is will the dual Xeon set up perform better then what I have or am I just overclocking mad?

The Asus board has the same chipset as the MSI board and got good reviews here at THG. Will the dual xeon be better then one P4?

I use my PC mainly for office applications, but also like to relax with a game or two!

Any opinions?

Stick with the Neo.
