The fan has worn out the bearings or something, and it's VERY LOUD. Anyone know if I can just unplug it and run the thing that way? If not, where can I get a replacement thats quiet?

You can get a replacement from Abit. If you tell them you're a technician you can probably talk them into RMA'ing the fan to them, as opposed to the whole board.

Abit has the best warranty in the business.

Thanks Crash. Follow up question: The guy does audio recording and is trying for as quiet a PC as possible. Do you think <A HREF="http://www.endpcnoise.com/cgi-bin/e/nb47j.html?id=VdCZqWsz" target="_new">this would suffice?</A>
