Once again I'd like to bring a bit of crow to the tables of the naysayers, have your feast!
Where was VIA when all of this was happening? Does it matter? What REALLY matters is that SiS was forced to drop their earnings estimate by 73% this year, the market isn't giving them adequate respect. And that these $100 motherboards are offering similar features and better performance compared to $180 875P chipset boards.

Nice review. I hope they can make these boards readily available. It seems like it takes extra long for SIS-based boards to become available for purchase; perhaps that's the manufacturers' fault though.
SiS sells cheap, companies tend to make cheap boards for them. Chipset quality doesn't matter to motherboard manufacturers, it's all about price. If VIA charged $100 for a crappy chipset, mobo companies would integrate them into $200 motherboards and tell you what a great deal it was at that price.
High end SiS chipsets in middle price boards present a marketing problem for these manufacturers, mainly because they're stupid.
