I have a Athlon MP 1.2Ghz processor. I am wondering if it will work on a mobo with a nForce2 or KT600 chipset.
Will they accept PC2100 DDR memory?

what ever would i do without you...

Basically the athlon mp and standard athlon are the same processor (in fact you can convert a standard athlon to an mp if you have some balls) therefore you will have no trouble running an mp processor in a standard single cpu board. Both chipsets you listed will be able to run pc1600 2100 2700 and 3200 memories.

If it isn't a P6 then it isn't a procesor

Piii man, you must be the real deal around here. Where can I get that information about converting an xp to an mp? I have a 1700 but I'm about to get a 2500 so I thought I'd fool around with the old one.
