Is it Time for a Bios Upgrade??

Ok, I don't know if you guys will remember, but im the one with the A7N8X deluxe and 2800+ and still till this day cannot run at the right 2800+ speeds, it will not boot up if i set fsb to 166, i have 1002 BIOS on board... Should i Upgrade, and if yes, which one? 1006, or 1007? I also Notice that on the website it shows 2 different files, for which revision you have... I bought the board when it first came out, im pretty sure it's not the 2.0 rev? 1. something?

If you look on the pcb, between the pci slots, it will tell you what rev. you have. Your bios update must be based on that number.

yeah i think it's 1.3.... not sure tho... i decided to not upgrade, i already upgraded once and the problem never got fixed. Im gonna be building another computer in 1 year from this xmas... mom is getting CASE money from a car accident, she i can build any pc i want cause she's getting a heft amount.. lucky me i guess.. ... thinking by then....amd64 nForce4 chipset? GeForce 5? 2 GB .. 400GB... not sure what i want.. thanks for help
