Where can I buy a BIOS chip for a a7n8x dlx. rev. 2 motherboard? I have an extra one but it needs a new chip.

Its only funny until somebody gets hurt, then its hilarious.

I have one for you, $10, but you'll have to program it yourself. That would require either a BIOS programer or a "hot swap" on a working board.

Otherwise there are companies who do pre-program chips, but they usually charge $20-$30 each.

You might consider an RD-1 BIOS Savior, a device with it's own BIOS chip, that is selectable via a switch. Such a device would allow you to go into the BIOS programing business yourself, on the cheap, with little risk.

You can find a bios chip for your board at biosworld.com. You will need the information that is printed on the chip so they can determine what build you have.
