Alot of my games on PC freeze after 5 - 20 minutes of play time. I hear sound distortion game lags a little and then will either freeze or go to windows blue screen. Any idea what the problem is?

Windows 7
I definitly meet the minimum requirements.
Don't believe i have any viruses, ran Kaspersky many times and found nothing.

rab1d covered just about all of the posibilties, i would like to say that it does sound like an overheating problem, usually when its delayed like that, its because it starts to overheat.
