Take money out of the equation. You only have the two set ups to choose from. Which would you take and why? Thanks in advance.

Set up 1 - Asus A7N8X (newest version) with a XP 2800+.
Set up 2 - Asus P4PE with P4 2.4b 533mhz fsb.

Common hardware that might be of interest (can't change these either0 - 1gig PC2700 RAM, 9800 Pro vid card.

I can read reviews and have, but how about some power user input on this. Which set up and why?

Machine used 75% of time mp gaming.

Setup 1, but I'd either get the Deluxe or...a different board with nForce APU, because it's awesome.

Yeah, gotta agree with crash. Even tho the p4 rig has the higher front side bus I'm still going with the Asus. In addidtion this board gives the user the ability to tweak the hell out of it. That is, if you like to overclock.
