Internet Explorer 5.5/6 loses "favorites" icon

When i add a new link to "favorites", it shows up in the favorites folder attached with the specific icon of the site. For example, google.com's icon is a small "G" which appears right next to the link. Once, however, I restart my comp and open up IE the icons next to all the links are reset to the generic IE icon. Anyone know how you can make IE keep the customized icon from each website?

try getting one of the windows tweak package, there used to be one for 98 that had a button for refreshing icons or somthing, im sure some one will let you know the package.
