Hi,

I have a small LAN that I would like my brother to connect to who lives
about 3 houses down the street on the other side of the road (about 70
metres by line of sight). I have a LinkSys WRT54G router plugged into my
LAN. His computer has a Linksys WMP54G wireless network card, however, the
signal out of the WRT54G is not strong enough for him to make a connection.
Is there some kind of repeater/bridge/whatever that i could use at his house
(say towards the front of the property) that would boost the signal around
his house allowing him to connect to my network?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
BJ McGowan

Best solution would probably be a directional antenna on your end. Just
point it towards your bro's house and it should increase your wifi signal
quite a bit.
