I picked up mass effect 2 the other day and upon playing i noticed that edges and lines are split into a bunch of segments. I've got the in-game graphics settings at max and haven't changed any .ini files. This is the only graphical glitch i've encountered yet.

My specs are:
CPU: AMD athlon II x2 245 @ 2.9ghz
GPU: EVGA 8800gts 512mb
PSU: OCZ Stealth Xtreme 500w
Windows 7 Ultimate x64

any help appreciated thanks!

I have everthing maxed as well, 1920x1080, Windows 7 Home, 64 bit. I finished the game last night with 30 hrs 37min of game play. The only glitches I have noticed is that in a couple of places (The professor's clinic reception area, and Blood Rage Relay Station) that I would get stuck 10 feet above the ground, and have to load last save and replay. Occasionally I would notice some broken geometry, but it wasn't to a point that is was annoying.

I also have a system that I used the 245 Regor on. I have a nice stable OC of 3.480. CPU stay nice and cool, relatively speaking. It's a spare that friends can use when they are over. Have you overclocked yours? If you have, how were your results?

On my second time through, in the "recruiting the Korgen" I caught myself going up while pressing the "w" key, I stopped and hit all the other key to reverse it, but it didn't help. I looked down and I was stacked directly on top of my teammates. So yes I think it is a software issue with the "AI" behavior of the other characters. If you find a "hole" the AI charaters will push you up and block you from moving back down.

Not that big a deal, considering the sheer volume of the enviroment you can navigate, I can accept a few glitches. I still love this game.
